A disciplinarian who has an ardent or refined interest in food and drink…

…and so the blog goes.

All this indestructible appetite, however, must be countered by a seasonal detox.  And right now, it is the Spring Green SuperTOX.  The secret to my success is as follows:

8 Week Daily Menu

Breakfast – Coffee, 1/2 Whole Grain English Muffin, 1 Tablespoon Apricot Preserves

Lunch – 3/4 Cup Steamed Vegetables, 8 Ounces Coca-Cola

Dinner – 2 Cups Brown Rice with Olive Oil and Curry and Tuna, Chamomile Tea

3 Important Sources to Remember:

Beta-Carotene – sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, spinach

Vitamin D – SUNSHINE (skip the sunscreen!), milk, catfish, tuna

Vitamin E – almonds, asparagus, olives, wheat germ
